As a Technical Sales Executive, you are the face of our store. Your goal is to translate complex technical jargon into benefits that customers understand. Whether a student is looking for a budget laptop or a developer needs a high-performance server, you will provide expert consultations, demonstrate product features, and close sales by building trust and providing the "perfect fit" solution.
What We're Looking For
Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of current tech trends (Intel vs. AMD, iOS vs. Android, NVMe speeds, etc.).
Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-tech-savvy customers in a clear, persuasive manner.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in an electronics or IT showroom.
Sales Persona: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a focus on closing deals and building long-term customer relationships.
Education: Minimum of a High School diploma; a background in Computer Science or IT is a massive advantage.
Language: Fluency in English and the local language to cater to a diverse customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation: Greet customers and identify their specific needs (e.g., gaming, video editing, or basic office work) to recommend the right hardware.
Product Demonstration: Showcase the features of the latest laptops, smartphones, and accessories, explaining specs like refresh rates, Nits, and clock speeds.
Upselling & Cross-selling: Increase the average order value by suggesting essential add-ons like extended warranties, software licenses, antivirus, or peripherals (mice, cooling pads).
Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
Store Merchandising: Ensure the display units are clean, functional, and updated with the latest price tags and promotional materials.
Technical Troubleshooting: Provide basic "on-the-spot" assistance for customers having trouble choosing between software versions or hardware compatibility.
